A History and genealogy of Right Hand Fork[2]
PDF local copy here, or at Family Search. Dora (Farler) DeHart was a cousin of mine and wrote this book in the late 1980s, and fortunately Middletown library (now MidPointe) has a copy. This history of the county was initially published in the pages of Henry Ragland's Logan Banner, and has a succinct summary of my early Virginia Ferrell roots, including William - the first I know of, and his immediate heirs.

Full Wiki page on book here or the PDF local copy here. This (last?) version of Ragland's history, written by Samuel W. Rogers Jr. (with notes from Sigfus Olafson) published by in 1996 by the Logan County Historical Society to celebrate the 100's anniversay or Ragland's original work, was greatly updated with historical notes. It also draws heavily from the work of Robert Y. Spence, who wrote "The land of the Guyandot : a history of Logan County".

Find the full book page here. Unfortunately this is out of print, so you'll need to find a copy at a library. Fortunately Cincinnati Public had a copy. It is unclear to me if this at the sometimes referenced title "" are the same book or not. I suspect so.
