Much more to fill in later.

George is well covered in the G.C. and E. S. Musick's extensive genealogies of the family. They refer to George as "The Pioneer" as he was the furthest back they could reliably trace. Family Search believes they've traced the line back several more generations, and I will try to corroborate that for myself.

But, we do get quite a bit of information from George's Will, which G. C. Musick found in Will Book B, Part I Page 181, Spotsylvania County, VA. Court Records, probated on 5 Mar 1754, we learn.

that George Musick Sr and his wife, Ann, were parents of six sons: Abraham; Ambrose; Daniel;Elections (Elexious); Ephraim; George Jr.; and three daughters: Agnes; Elizabeth; and Kezia. Ann and the children were living when George died.

Crozier's book Virginia County Records, Spotsylvania County, 1721-1800 has many land records for George and Family, outlined in Genealogy of the Musick Family and Some Kindred Lines. In Land Transaction 1 below, we learn that Ambrose must have been born around 1720 (as he is old enough to be a witness to the sale in 1743), and Transaction 2 confirms that William Trustee is George's son-in-law (to daughter Elizabeth), when in 1746 he gifts the couple 50 acres. Transaction 3, also in 1746, he also gives 50 acres to his son George Jr (V) (this is about 8 years before George's death at 70 years old). Transaction 4 is (about 13 years) after George dies, recorded 1767, and has son Daniel selling 100 acres that he inherited to Benjamin Johnson.

Six years before this, in 1761 (7 years after George's death) son Daniel sells another 61.5 of his 100 acres to Thomas Witt. Where did these come from? Apparently Dan was quite the land baron, because again in 1763 he sells 30 acres to John Chiles. Then 1764 he buys from his brother-in-law William 50 acres. In 1775 he and brother George sell 68 acres to George McNeil, with witnesses John (Ephraim's son) and the other sons Ephraim are all still living in Spotsylvania, VA in 1775.
