I am not a DNA expert. But, I have taken the BigY test at FamilyTree DNA, and I have joined the Farrell DNA ancestry group. Dr. Gleason has placed my results in Group 4, clearly connected to William Ferrell (which Sam Hanna refers to as "The Virginia Dynasty" in his book The Farrells of Donegal: And Associated Families, from Ulster/Donegal.
