SUDITH, Oct, 8 - Moses S. Ferrell Sr. 88, a retired farmer, died 9 p.m. Sunday at his residence here after a short illnes. A native of West Virginia, be was a member of the Church of Christ.
Clearsia Hatfield Ferrell; a diaughter, Miss Velva Ferrell, Sudith; six sons, Allen, Mason and Charlie Ferrell, Sudith; Garland Ferrell, Paris; Moses Ferrell Jr., Carlise, and Madison Ferrell, Frenchburg; two foster sons, Emerson and Ronnie Ferrell, Sudith; two brothers, Madison ferrell, Ronoake, Va. and Humphrey Ferrell, Hampton, W. Va; three sisters Mrs. Chloe Barney and Mrs. Martha Smith, Gilbert. W. Va. and. Mrs. Zetta Hatfield, Hampton, W. Va.; 37 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the residence by the Rev. H.S. Ficklin. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery here. The body was taken from the Richardson Funeral Home, Owingsville, to the residence. - ↑ MRS. CLERISA FERRELL OBIT
OWINGSVILLE — Mrs. Clerisa Hatfield Ferrell, 89, widow of Moses Ferrell, died at 1:05 a.m. today at her home in Sudith, Menifee County, following a long illness.
She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Velva Ferrell, Sudith; six sons, Garland Ferrell, Paris; Allen Ferrell, Mason Ferrell, Moses Ferrell, and Charles Ferrell, all of Sudith, and Madison Ferrell, Frenchburg; two foster sons, Emerson Ferrell, Frenchburg, and Ronald Ferrell, Sddith; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ellis, Morehead; 38. grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.
The services will be conducted at 2pm. Thursday at Upper Salt Lick Church by the Rev John Williams and the Rev. James Foster. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as bearers.
The body is at the residence. The Richardson Funeral Home, Owingsville, is in charge of arrangements.
