I don't know much about Augusta and Elijah, but I consider them verified as I have good death certificates for both of them, listing birth and death dates, and both their sets of parents, and I have several Census entries for their families. He was named post master of Eugene, Mingo County, in 1891, though.

Elijah and Augusta are my 2nd great-grands (father=Jerry, granda=Arvid, great grand is Moses), so I clearly never knew them. I have their death certificates showing their parents, and birth and death dates, and most of the census records (1890 fire year, and 1900 and 1870 for Elijah for some reason, aside), so I consider them quite solid, though the kids get a little tricky with that 20-year-census-dark-period. In 1860 they both show up in their parent's homes (Moses and Jane Lockhart for Elijah), so that confirms them even without a birth record, but the missing census years make confirming their siblings a bit tough.
