Ethel Evans Albert has done some really great work here, and the first two chapters of Volume 1 (Evans and Ferrell) capture a tremendous amount of detail about the ancestors. Not only does she present a very comprehensive family tree, she has tax and land/deed source citations to backup here claims. I haven't had a chance to run all of that to ground yet, but it is a richly detailed piece of work that I expect will aid myself, and anyone tracing these lines, for some time to come.

I have tried to not only capture a digital version of this books here for fellow researchers, but I captured the two most relevant (to my line) chapters in optical character recognition, and then worked through to clean up the text as the binding was a bit problematic. Here I am dedicating full pages to those transcripts. Chapter One focuses on William Evans and Chapter Two on William Ferrell.
