I don't know much about Augusta and Elijah, but I consider them verified as I have good death certificates for both of them, listing birth and death dates, and both their sets of parents, and I have several Census entries for their families. She was born in 1851 in Logan County, WV, and died in 1934 Menifee County, KY of pneumonia and is buried in Mingo Christian Cemetery.

Elijah Ferrell was borm March 27, 1851, in Pike County, Kentucky, and married Augusta Ellis of Logan County, ond January 4. 1872. Their children

were Rhoa R., Moses, Charlie, Clarissa, Chloe, Martha E., Mary F., Letty V., Madison B., and Anna Belle Lee. They lived on Gilbert Creek.

I feel pretty good about Augusta and Elijah, I have both their Death Certificates, which have birth and death dates for both, and parents for both (though Elijah's just says "VA" for their place of births for him and "WV" for her). I have them on several census, with 1900 being the exception (and the 1890 burned census and 1870 for Elijah), so I have a pretty good handle on them and consider them solid. I'm a little suspect on some of the kids, though, since I have that 20 year gap in census records, some of the kids I've found on Ancestry I haven't totally convinced myself of, so I'll shore those up later.

In 1860 they both show up in their parent's homes (Madison and Clarisa Trent in Augusta's case), so that confirms them even without a birth record, but the missing census years make confirming their siblings a bit tough. as well
