Armedia Smith is born 3 January 1890, which is confirmed in the 1900 Census (her full birthday is listed) in her father's household in the Stafford district of of Mingo county, WV, and shows her age correctly as 11.<br>


She then marries Alexander Trent in 20 April 1906 (aged 17) and has Fanny the following year, and John in 1909.  By 1910 she's back home in her father's (John Smith) house.  By 28 November 1911 she's remarried William L Craig, so they must have been divorced in between.<br>


Alex Trent doesn't die until 1922 (age 42) in VA, and appears to be married th Janie McClanahan by 1916 because they have George Washington Trent in February. GW Trent's 1938 marriage license ([https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9TR-T9DF-2?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AQK9J-QG7T&action=view&cc=2370234&lang=en&groupId= link]) does show these as his parents.<br>
